The Tulip lounge chair was designed by Tove Kindt Larsen and produced by Robert Wengler in the 1940s. From 1930 to the 1960s, Tove and her husband were among Denmark's most skilled designers, covering areas such as architecture, design of the future, silverware, and textiles. They were a strong design-duo, and their work was characterized by contrasts and simplicity, as well as a high sense of quarantine with an appreciation of current trends.
The Tulip lounge chair is part of Sika Design's ICONS collection, where they revitalize iconic pieces of furniture from some of Europe's most skilled and important architects and designers.
The cushions which fit the chair are of high quality and comfort, they come in a variety of shades.
