The Chill lounge chair and footstool were designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1961, the first piece of furniture designed after the death of her husband Jørgen Ditzel earlier that same year. The lounge chair is designed for indoor use, but Nanna Ditzel herself used it on the terrace of her summer home. The lounge chair and footstool tie an organic design language with minimalistic features and suggests indulgence and relaxation––whether this is indoors or outdoors.
